Old MacDonalds Educational Farm Park has been created to offer a greater understanding of our British farm livestock, wildlife and countryside. The new buildings follow the traditional Essex-barn style, set in 17 acres of pasture and woodland with hard paths around the site to ensure dry feet and access for wheelchairs with many opportunities to get close to the birds and animals and interpretation displayed on paddocks and pens to heighten the awareness of the animals. Old Macdonalds Farm endeavours to present to you the largest selection of British Rare Breed farm animals, poultry and wildlife as possible within the confines of the 16 acres of land on which the Farm Park is situated. Picnic areas are situated all around the Farm Park. Give your feet a rest, bring out that pre packed picnic, or purchase freshly prepared food from our Cafeteria and soak up the atmosphere of a 'real' working Farm.
